<p>Solsmart Energy Solutions Inc, one of Ontario&#8217;s most experienced EPC solar developers is proud to announce the installation of a 250kW solar PV system at 3508 Wonderland Rd in London, ON. This green energy project qualifies for a Feed-In Tariff (FIT) contract and the electricity generated will feed into London Hydro’s distribution grid for use by local energy consumers. The solar system will generate approximately 265,000 kilo-watt-hours per year which is enough to power over 20 homes in the area. Solsmart’s in-house team of installers and electricians completed the rooftop installation on time and on budget in just 6 weeks.</p>

<p>Solsmart is helping Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) go solar. Solsmart helped design and install several solar PV systems for TCHC including the 6kW demonstration project at TCHC headquarter pictured above. Ontario&#8217;s Feed-In Tariff program allows TCHC to add value while reducing the carbon footprint of its buildings.  The long term nature of the Feed-In Tariff is well suited for  social housing providers who plan to own and operate these buildings for many years to come.</p>
